Every decade or so is just about right. The last one was in Cincinatti in 2001.

The big difference between past riots and Fergusen is the media.sensationalism 24/7 political entertainment on cable, social media , online forums and " cash for trash" journalism whereby people are paid by clicks per view. It's all about feeding the need to be outraged, well beyond race.

Fergusen would have happened no matter who was president.

If I know my recent presidential terms correctly I believe that was Clinton. Glad no one was killed and that the damage to property was exponentially less than L.A..

Were you trying to make a point? Mine was that democrats aren't the only ones who have these events happen under their watch. I think yours adds another notch to the Dem column. Was that your point?

Whichever one those Democrats moved to who embraced them when their original party didn't agree with their racist and classist intentions.

Never thought race is such a sensitive subject in this country, now I believe it.

Nope...presidents have no influence.
What a flaming hypocrite. Talking about accountability and open/transparency...?

They just got Grubered.

He and Eric Holder should have stayed the out of it altogether, and should stop inserting themselves in every racial thing they possibly can!!

This proves that racial division, violence, and anger exist no matter what, no matter who is President. It keeps taking place and has been taking place for years.

Well lets see...

Michael Brown was caught on video robbing a convenience store for Marijuana rolling cigars, assaulting a clerk, punching a police officer in the face, grabbing for his gun, taunting the police officer with vulgar slurs, then evading arrest.

You can kinda see how that led up to a shooting with the thug 6 feet under.

It's not that way here in the Indy metro. Certain areas of the metro are black, others white, and I think race relations are much more strained here than when I lived in SC a few years ago. It's more integrated in the South.
