No, they stopped committing crimes and causing general mayhem. They embraced education and personal responsibility. They were not targeted because they had brogues, funny clothes, and whiskey bottles in the pocket. As stated, it was not called a Paddy Wagon because it was green.
Instead of blaming others for your own self destruction, perhaps study the Luck of the Irish as an example of how to elevate yourself.
Then again, it is easier to depict the Crips as misunderstood youths just trying to get to their calculus tutor.
The only people committing crimes and causing general mayhem for hundreds of years in the U.S. were whites. Irish were eventually allowed to joined them, while African descendants had to continue as slaves and after live under Jim Crow.
Only in recent decades has the above been true for a minority of African-Americans.
Even I know that as a first generation American. Try again.

I believe I said as much.
I never claimed bias against the two groups ran at the same time and I also made sure to state that blacks have had it the worst in this country.
Try again?
No. YOU need to READ carefully and organize your points before responding.
....it is because they inherit the benefits of our complaints and our struggles. Black people have been like the person in the big meeting that ask the question that nobody else asks....but long to know the answer to. "when are we going to get raises"...sort of thing, because others don't want to make waves and be seen as complainers.
The truth is that all other minorities benefit in America from the struggles put forth by black people and this includes women and gays. Gays have often used the black struggle and the rights won to draw analogies to their struggle. Women have benefited from the struggles of blacks too because opening up the doors of freedom to Americas most despised and disrespected group, its slave population, eventually set the stage for freedom and universal suffrage for women and all.
Thus, other groups do not have to complain and do not complain because they can and do ride the coat tails of black people and our struggles. Right now, the rest of America is riding the struggle of black people against the police state....yet, the rest of America has set silent as police became militarized killing machines, then condemn us when we cry out because they don't cry out. We get seen as the whiners, those with the victim syndrome and the like, while others get seen as "model minorities" or non complainers....yet they benefit from our complaints and rebellion which has let to better lives and higher standard of living for them.
Haha I find it ironic that black people struggled so much for equality yet are also the biggest homophobic community out there.
Right wingers know this and are using it to sucker you guys in. The black community is too homophobic to realize this.
Nope....I mean living as a racial minority (outwardly easily identifiable as such) in a land dominated by the racial majority group that has oppressed you for centuries. That is the black experience. Do you think whites could rise out of that situation any better than blacks have?
It would depend on how closely they followed the racial collective mindset. First generation black immigrants from the Caribbean and Western Africa do better per capita than native born black people, and start with fewer advantages of citizenship. Why? I think cultural influence in your immediate surroundings does indeed play a part, and in many urban, low income settings, the culture for everyone, not just blacks, is a perpetual woe_is_me entitlement mindset that is self-fulfilling prophecy. Blacks fall prey to this more than others because they have it pushed at them more than others from within and externally as well. It's simply part of the welfare state at this point.
But your Caribbean and African immigrant comes here as an adult without having been immersed in that culture of collective racial negativity, and end up doing better on a per capita basis.
Understand that I am not being racially biased here, because there are pockets of entitled white people all over America with the exact same immediate culture of negativity and entitlement, and the welfare roll calls bear witness to that. The point I am making is that the entitlement mindset trumps skin color for its negative effect on the individual, regardless of race. So to answer whether whites would do better, same or worse than blacks, we'd need to establish the parameter of how closely they followed the racial collective negativity and entitlement that certain subcultures of blacks have.
Oh would you just get over your pompus attitude? Whatever happened to being gay relating so well to the plight of black folks? Just because someone disapproves of homosexuality doesn't make them hate or fearful of gay people, nor need to embrace everything gay any more than you obviously do not love everything about us. So you and the OP need to seek a new target. The cops and klan got to us first, decades ago.
O has lit a fuse for a race war in the coming decades, not beteeen blacks and whites, but between blacks and latinos. The former will lose.
Lose how?
