Mosques are used as terrorist meeting, training and planning centers - just like on 9-11. Islam is a political movement and based on conquest. There is no reason for the city council to invite that type of trouble into their town.
Good. Now if only they would say no to any churches that may already be there. No town really needs any of that stuff, anyway. There are much better uses for land.
When members of any religion stand silent, teach, support, or perpetrate atrocities on non-members, then -- I agree -- no town needs that. No country needs that. When what we have come to know as traditional churches in this country begin to advocate lopping off heads of non-believers and burying children alive, then they, too, must be banned. Evil begets evil. To stand by and do nothing, say nothing, is to be a part of it.
Let's see more Muslims stand up against the barbarism of those so-called "few" who have hijacked their religion.

The First Amendment was really designed to protect the Christian Church from the government declaring one Christian sect as the only recognized church (as Virginia had done, and also as the Church of England had been).

And number two, apparently a lot of City-Data's members have parents who are also cousins.
LOL its like the liberals have forgotten about September 11th and how the Muslim terrorists killed thousands of innocent people. I know not all Muslims are terrorists or bad people, but its like night and day with Islam and Christianity. I invite any liberal who thinks Islam and Christianity are on the same level as far as violence goes to spend a few days with members of ISIS or Al Quada.
I am willing to bet you don't even know a Muslim. Remember the big deal about a mosque next to the World Trade Center, most didn't even know it had already been there when they began protesting, well it's still there. So by your logic we should punish all Muslims by prohibiting a place of worship because of the actions of a few, sounds fair.
