They held onto it too long. With all of the ISIS beheadings lately, the public is likely to not mind the fact that the U.S. had to torture to get info from our enemies that would prevent even more U.S. deaths.
Plus, releasing it today when Gruber is testifying is an overly obvious ploy to distract from Grubergate. Not all American voters are as stupid as Gruber and the Dems believe, only the Dem voter base is that stupid.
Was listening to Rep. Cummings about Gruber having to testify. If he could only have heard himself...
If Cummings and other Democrats had read, or remotely known what was in the legislation they were about to pass they might never have had the vote. And Gruber wouldn't even be a foot note in history.
It's the Democrats who voted for the ACA that should be called before committee.

I love how the democrats in Obama's pocket are throwing red herrings into the hearing. For example it was Romney's idea, healthcare expenditures have gone down, and those with preexisting conditions qualify. It's like one part hearing, one part infomercial for Obamacare.
Even funnier, the democrats in Obama's pocket start their spiel in the defense of this fraud with the caveat 'I was not around when Obamacare was enacted but ...'
