This is the time many store make it or, not for the year........by making people want to avoid shopping in stores hurts the sales.

Some stores will close or, cut staff.

Then we will hear the jobs are gone and there are no stores in their part of town.
in the late 1960's the Blacks rioted in here in North Minneapolis, a bustling neighborhood that was largely Jewish & Black. They attacked Jews, burned their stores down, etc. The Jews all moved out to the suburbs. Those suburbs are hugely successful today. North Minneapolis was never rebuilt. I believe there is one supermarket on that entire side of the city. You can literally count the number of bars/restaurants that aren't fast food or strip clubs on one hand. No movie theater. No jobs. The worst schools in the metro area. No one in their right mind will ever invest their money in that side of the city again. This is the future of Ferguson.

Just look at Detroit.

Parts of 8 mile still have burned out buildings from 1968.

It did finally get us out of Vietnam. Or maybe you think we should still be there?

did anyone see the story about the looter in Ferguson who thought he was launching a molotov into a store and states that under all the confusion and smoke he threw it into his own home? That guy deserves the darwin award. I have to find the link.
