Imagine an international welfare bureacracy. It would be hellish.

It would be a disaster if all states, countries, and the likes became one World Nation.

Man, I remember those days. I sat on the beach in Oregon so long one day that my skin actually congealed to the rocks, becoming one with the microscopic particles of glass, and I nearly drowned at high tide. Huge purple whales out beyond the surf leaped clear of the water and crashed down, throwing up plumes of iridescent foam. If those giant crabs hadn't come along at sunset and gnawed me free, I'd have ended up like the Little MerMan of Cannon Beach.
