Looks like the Governor is throwing in the towel instead of crippling his state with taxes that would be higher than Barack Obama during his "Choom Gang" days.

"The legislation called for the administration to produce a plan for financing the Green Mountain Care system by 2013 but it wasn't completed until the last several days. Shumlin said it showed the plan would require an 11.5 percent payroll tax on businesses and an income tax separate from the one the state already has of up to 9.5 percent."

Two taxes.

21% total.

Twenty-one percent.

Be careful what you ask for, Single-Payer Sycophants.

As an American living in the UK and covered by the National Health Service, too bad.

I would pay higher taxes for single payer in the US.

Higher wages/profits. No ever increasing health insurance premiums.

It's almost a wash. I know you conservatives don't want to pay a little more so the leaches can have some crumbs but that's life.

I cannot imagine why you so like government waste and incompetence. It is mind-boggling.

Ever increasing taxes and worsening health care.

No, you're right. We don't want to pay more so the leaches get more crumbs. But, the leaches in government are already fat cats with more corruption than you could ever document.

So, I suppose you can feel sorry for the politicians and lobbyists, but I don't.

I'm really not sure what point you are trying to prove with that graph..
