I support law enforcement. I don't support thugs with badges and the militarization of law enforcement. I don't support the justice system that is set up to protect cops and I think dirty or abusive cops need to be put in jail.

I agree with the member who said he supports them with his taxes. What other kind of support are you looking for? Police certainly don't need any other support from me.

I support good cops. I don't support bad cops. People didn't give a **** about the MIT officer killed because they were busy whining about how police were searching for terrorists. The same ones now support all cops and think anybody who protests is a jobless thug. The hypocrisy is pathetic.

i think that the police have been given a dirty job. i am not sure it belongs to them.
it might belong to the military. this does not look like a demonstration regarding police misconduct. it is much too violent for that. too many random murders of civilians.
firing police officers for doing their jobs will not appease the criminals. public apologies and less aggressive policing will not appease the criminals.
its not that they want the police to do their jobs differently, they dont want the police to do their jobs at all.

I support private security because the money I give to them ensures that I am their customer and they will operate in a manner that protects my interests, as opposed to government police who ride around in cruisers all day preying on the very taxpayers who pay their wage.

Too bad some members of the NY union for 911 operators don't support the police. Some were saying the two cops killed got what they deserved.

Some were saying that? Is this hearsay or something you can prove?

I don't believe that. We just hear about the few involved in a controversy. Why don't we hear the stories about the cops who actually save lives because they are the norm.
