It doesn't work to equate Germans with Muslims. "Germany" is not a religion or a cult, it is a nationality, but Nazism was. You have to equate Muslims with Nazis, not Germans. Both Nazis and Muslims believe in a supremacy doctrine that allows barbaric behavior. People who join these barbaric religions, cults, etc are supporting those ideals -- and it doesn't matter if you know nice Nazis or Muslims in your neighborhood or workplace -- they are involved in and supporting a religion/cult that subscribes to barbaric behavior by the fact they join these organizations. The so-called religion of peace believes in killing homosexuals, enslaving women, killin infidels - non believers of their religion, cutting the hands off of thieves, taking over the world and turning it into Islam, etc, etc...
Modern day liberals have almost nothing in common with the liberals of the past.
Those liberals wrote laws guaranteeing free speech. Today's liberals write laws banning "hate" speech. Those liberals wrote laws guaranteeing firearm ownership. Today's liberals write laws controlling guns. Those liberals wrote laws guaranteeing freedom of religion. Today's liberals write laws requiring believers to violate the precepts of their faiths. Those liberals wrote laws requiring taxation to be uniform. Today's liberals write laws that use taxation as behavior modification with "luxury" taxes and wealth redistribution with progressive taxation. Those liberals wrote laws reserving power to the states and the people. Today's liberals write laws centralizing power in the federal government.
The idea that an unelected bureaucracy in Washington would develop a "core curriculum" and force every child in the nation to study it would have horrified the liberals of the past. The idea that what sorts of healthcare people had access to would be determined by the federal government would have horrified them as well. The government that modern liberals have created is exactly the government that those liberals formed America to stand against.
