Canada is stepping up to help the Christians and minorities who have been suffering at the hands of Muslims for decades, and especially recently at the hands of the 'true' Muslims who take the Koran literally, namely ISIS, and what do you know - some people are already complaining that Muslims will be discriminated against in terms of allowing them asylum. Hmm... wonder why a country would not want to allow a large influx of Muslims into their country as opposed to a large influx of Christians?
'Canada is announcing it will accept another 10,000 Syrians over three years and 3,000 more Iraqis in 2015.
"He said private refugee sponsors today are dealing with an international refugee crises – including millions of displaced Syrians – that 'goes beyond anything we’ve seen since the Second World War.'”
Very sad. Already so few Christians in that region of the world -- the birthplace of Christianity -- compared to just a few decades ago because of the persecution. It's great they will get some help.
It is an interesting experiment --- whether Christian Arabs would mesh and integrate better with our American civilization than Muslim Arabs.
Still would be a lot of culture shock but would it be an easier transition?
It's not an experiment anymore. Hundreds of thousands of Christian Arabs emigrated to the West and live here at least as long as muslims. Canada and European countries were the main destinations, but there're many in the US too.
You never hear of this because there're zero problems with them! They integrate perfectly, become a part of the society and thrive.
Important! Ethnically, Christian and muslim Arabs are the same, and the enormous difference in their success rates is yet another evidence that the muslim's problem is not discrimination, but their cult.

Still though, I love their food and culture outside of their religion.
