Monopoly corporations are the enemies of Liberty. They would reduce the country into serfs and rulers. The British trade monopolies were doing this in the 1700's. That is why we had a revolution. Progressivism that prevents corporate collusion is the protector of Liberty by opening the markets to everyone.
I wonder why the Republicans try very hard to eliminate unskilled employment for ever greater profit and simultaneously tell the displaced to get jobs instead of welfare? How DO they expect the displaced to find jobs that do not exist? How?

Don't expect Republicans to recognize, much less implicitly admit, the inherently destructive nature of the callous disregard for others and maniacal self-motivation that is the foundation of their political philosophy.
So sick of Democratic hypocrisy and divvying up everyone into various sub-cultures of victims to battle it out against each other for that $weet, $weet government teat. Also, there really is too much bureaucracy and red tape strangling our country. It seems the government really is the shadow of large corporate interests, which don't necessarily have the United State's best interest in mind.

The main sticking point I have, besides the Moral Majority wing of your party, is that I'm a big outdoors kinda guy. I love hiking and camping and all that stuff. Even as blundering as government is...isn't it the only thing standing in the way of corporations strip mining the entire United States?
A friend of mine called me a 'bleeding heart libertarian'...but I don't see how limited government protects the weakest among us or protects the 'public lands' that I so enjoy camping on.
Is there a book that deals with this or can you answer that for me?
How do Republicans propose to take care of our National Parks and keep our Air and Water clean? This is a real question, I'm sincere in everything I've said here.

Texas? The federal government only owns 1.8% of the land in your state compared to Nevada where they own 81.1% of the land in that state. One might ask, why is Nevada even a state? Point being, you might not feel it the same as Nevada.

Nobody (or anyone credible) is arguing that we should be "getting rid of the the government." A limited government does not equal a lack of government. It's not black and white, there is a continuum of government involvement, not simply the poles.

Right now the feds are simply warning people to not hike state and federal alnds because of mj growers and smugglers. How does that make you feel about the current administration? Proliferation of windmills killing eagles and other birds.

I am amused by confusing the Republicans that are fundamental Christians with the Republicans that worship the God of Greed. The latter actually run the country by owning the Republican Party and renting the Democratic leadership. Unfortunately for us and highly profitable for them the Crony Capitalists have figured out how to pander to the fundamentalists so they can run the county for their own benefit without any interference by real market forces.
I do not hate the Right Wing Republicans. I despise them for their selfishness and their foolishness for letting the financial elite own them. I also fear them for they would turn this country into Kristian Religious Tyranny so they could save my soul. My soul is already saved (if it exists) and I do not want anyone to try and force me to believe their fantasies and worship, generally by sending money, their god.
I have read of their suggestions to reduce the deficit by Selling the National Parks and Monuments to Disney. I suggest reducing the deficits by getting out of the Middle East and reducing our military to the level needed to defend this country and not American investors in Arabia. Besides, without the US government borrowing trillions of dollars, where and who would the international banks loan the money to? Without USG borrowing the banks would probably go broke.
I will vote for the Democrats before I vote for the corporate socialists.
