Even if it was truly 50% (which is doubtful), that isn't "enormous."
He has resuscitated nothing. We still have 50% of the work force unemployed. Those who are lucky enough to still have a job have had their hours cut to 30 hours (the "new full time"). That means they are having to do with less.

There is no way you can rationalize this. This is worse than the Jimmy Carter years (which I remember well).

But polls are fickle. I doubt he can keep this up for long, all though if the Republicans keep up their attacks on the middle and lower class its possible he might.
This speaks only to the stupidity of Americans. It is not an indication that he is doing a good job.
