For a guy who pursued the same policies as his much hated predecessor, obama is a perfect example of how well marketing and propoganda work on the less intuitive.
Obviously you are referring to Fox News.
Ken
PS - and BTW, you REALLY should rely LESS on that "intuition" of yours and more on ACTUAL FACTS. Maybe then you'd understand WHY Obama's approval rating is rising.
Yawn. None of which has changed the FACT that he has attempted over and over to work with Republicans, and when he has they have moved the goalposts. If you think they've been working with him you are seriously missing whats been occurring.
I don't think there are all that many people who "are seriously missing what's been occurring".
Jonathan Gruber explained it all pretty well in his videos and speeches + those are Obama's own words.
"We get it".
Well, our great President is cruising along with enormous popularity. This can be attributed to his incredibly effective policies, his superior position on all matters, his resuscitating this economy out of the Dubya Dark Ages in spite of Republican obstructionism, and tremendous results in all domestic programs and foreign policy. Republicans have simply failed to discredit this man of substance and class.
Even if it was truly 50% (which is doubtful), that isn't "enormous."
He has resuscitated nothing. We still have 50% of the work force unemployed. Those who are lucky enough to still have a job have had their hours cut to 30 hours (the "new full time"). That means they are having to do with less.
There is no way you can rationalize this. This is worse than the Jimmy Carter years (which I remember well).
His polls are up no matter which polling place gets the numbers. So obviously NOT the worst president in American history. Saying others speaks to the ignorance of many on the right. Quit living in a echo chamber.
But polls are fickle. I doubt he can keep this up for long, all though if the Republicans keep up their attacks on the middle and lower class its possible he might.
This speaks only to the stupidity of Americans. It is not an indication that he is doing a good job.
No, but it IS "a perfect example of how well marketing and propaganda work on the less intuitive".
Ken
Then how come you didn't see the biggest collapse since the Great Depression coming Mr Intuitive?
