The answer to your questions are simple--anti-choice people don't give a flying fig about the children who are already here. If they did, instead of trying to end abortion, they would be demonstrating against the terrible conditions that children mired in the foster care system have to endure and calling for something to be done to improve their sad lives. These are children who are already here and suffering, but you hear nary a word of protest about that from these good Christian anti-choicers. Apparently, they deserve their plight.
With their lack of concern for these unfortunate children they prove that their anti-choice position really has nothing to do with children. It has everything to do with controlling women.
Your argument does not hold water. There are many programs to help women and their children, during and after the birth.
Plus, the government has set up so many programs for mother and child but still pushes for abortion. Why, when their programs are suppose to be so great? I would call them anti-choicers. The programs are there but they won't encourage the women to use them.
Some abortionists will do it up to just before birth.
Really? Which states and which doctors? I'm pro-choice (to a point) but am fascinated by the anti-abortion crowd when they just make things up. The vast majority of abortions happen in the first 3 months. If you believe, really believe, that an embryo has equal rights as a 30 year old (and debating philosophically I can respect that opinion) then why do they always insist on bringing up imaginary full-term abortions? Fools.
When my niece was told she was adopted and how she was pretty happy about it. Not buying your opinion on that one. Point is the person who said children would agree with abortion has never told a child what it is and watched their face.
Was your niece born in the 50's?
Different times. In those days, when a child misbehaved, it wasn't uncommon for a parent to threaten to send them to an orphanage.
My point? It doesn't matter what children think of abortion.
You want to dictate that a woman be forced to have a kid. If you were forced not to have one you'd be crying about that. Bottom line: quit crying. You'll never change someone's mind so end the monotonous belly aching already. It's boring.
Many minds have been changed and are changing each day about abortion.

Why?
Because they don't have any valid points to back up their arguments, so they have to make things up.

If the government was pushing for abortions, they would be free.

The When do we Become Human, or when does life begin...and what exactly is life, can be a fascinating discussion, but with certain folks, not sure they can think that deep. For some reason the abortion issue always ends up discussing 6-8 month old fetuses playing Bridge in the uterus before being ripped out...which is not happening!
"If you like your abortion, you can keep your abortion."
Where should I put it? Would it look good above the fireplace? On the kitchen table?
