Plant a tree. It's as simple as that.

People have been so negative about global warming... I actually like it.. is there anything I can do to speed it up? Cut down more trees?

Bake yourself in an oven.

It would create the nice warm and fuzzy feeling.

But seriously, do you even know the repercussions of global warming? A lot of people who spoke like you above generally saw it as "hur hur I get a warmer winter! Less firewood used! Yay!"

Planting trees is nice, but really doesn't fight global warming all that much. If we want to cool things down, lets drop a few small nukes and create a small nuclear winter.

Global warming is not a big deal. And it will not last much longer. We will eventually get a change in solar output or cosmic rays and will be wishing it was warmer.

Yeledaf, just to let you know and hopefully make you happy, I ordered 20 trees from the Arbor Day Foundation about six weeks ago, they'll be sending me the trees in the spring!

I order some every year. I'm driving my neighbors nuts. But out here in Washington, No Tree Is Lonely.

Hint: don't forget to mulch!
