I guess like your thinking, everything is left or right to you...Truth is not important to you..... I have no labels and am neither left or right....
oh really? you must mean the type of truth where scientists fudge the results by putting the scientific instruments in the middle of a city on black top where it is hotter, or do you mean at the airport where the results would be temps worse than if the instruments were placed out in the middle of nowhere where no humans reside?
you know sans, it would be a lot easier to get behind your cause if the scientists involved were not getting a paycheck from the taxpayers and they were not fudging their results in favor of getting more grant money to pay their rent.

From 1998-2009, the US government appropriated $99 billion for work related to climate change. $35.7 billion (36%) of that total came in 2009 as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. [46]

This is good news.... Two-thirds of Americans say they are more likely to vote for political candidates who campaign on fighting climate change. They are less likely to vote for candidates who question or deny the science of human-caused global warming. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/31/us...oll-finds.html
And yet "Climate Change" comes in near the bottom (like...um...#14) of every poll of voter concerns. Where's the rolling-around-on-the-floor- laughing smiley?

Hold onto your wallets, folks.
From what I see on this forum, I think most Americans are not concerned about what happens so far in the future....The prevailing attitude seems to be look after number one, and screw future generations, even when it comes to their own grand kids.

please note:
You forget most Americans are idiots
They do not even realize the poles are shifting hence why aviators are adjusting their compasses.
nor do they realize magnetism of the earth has been going down
or the sunspots
causing global cooling instead of warming.
also to point out.
conserving energy is a good thing
but to force us to pay more for it is ludicrous.
if you give us an economical choice then sure we will do it.
