The faux outrage rings hollow.
Actually, he is in charge of Amazon's lobbying effort also, as you saw in the OP and decided to try to not mention on purpose. Which is of course why they hired Carney, because off his connections and influence acquired while serving as Obama's press secretary.

Since 2008, lobbyists and corporate influence have been the bleeding edge of everything evil associated with our government in the eyes of Democrats and the left. Obama promised he would not have any lobbyists on his staff, a promise he had broken repeatedly within weeks after he was inaugurated.

And of course the practice of people leaving high government for a paid position as a lobbyist for a large corporate enterprise like Amazon has been a point of criticism by Democrats and the left, or at least it used to be until perhaps right now.

And then there is Citizens United, which apparently is only a matter of concern if it is Republicans being funded by corporate interests, since directing campaign contributions and whatever else that they can get away with to Democrats in Congress is going to be a big part of Carney's job at Amazon as the executive overseeing their lobbying efforts.

Apparently this sort of thing is the great evil, unless it is Obama's inner circle or some high profile Democrat doing it. The hypocrisy of the left apparently knows no bounds.

So now Amazon will no longer be aware of what Amazon is doing?

Seems this is his second job since leaving the Whitehouse. I just don't see him as making good in private sector really.

Or the left hand not knowing what its fingers are doing.

Selective outrage by the left, on display here for all to see. We are deafened by the silence of the leftist media and the other leftist political shills on this, as you know they would be screaming foul from the rooftops if this was a Republican.

Or they'll see it on the news and be surprised. Good one!

People conveniently like to forget that there's no longer any difference between politicians and political appointees of either party. They serve themselves and those who pay them, not those who elect them. Well, not too many are actually elected any more, unless the power brokers want them elected.
