Common sense tells anyone with a brain that if you can't afford $200-$300-$400 a month how can they afford a 6K deductible.
Sadly Obamacare is promoted as if it's cheap. Some people get a break with premiums but meeting deductibles can put some in debt with collectors calling. I wonder how many of those who love it can pay $6k "per year".
And what's the Republican alternative? No insurance and then go flat-out broke when you get that $50K surgery bill? $6K is a better deal than anything conservatives offer. The conservative healthcare plan is basically "be rich or die quickly."

I'm not a Republican so can't speak to the "Republican alternative" but maybe we should do away with all of the "freebies" involved in insurance such as a "free preventative care visit" which in reality could be paid for out of pocket for about $100 give or take and instead have insurance for the big stuff only. The stuff that people cannot typically afford. Maybe that would at least be a start to bringing down the cost of insurance to more reasonable levels. As of now, our family of four can buy the cheapest most bare bones Bronze plan for more then $500 per month in premiums (half of our mortgage) which will get us a deductible of $12,600. I don't consider it to be a great deal or even a good deal.

Great site. I spent an hour searching in vain for even one Obamacare horror story, but there was nary a one to be found. Just post after post after post about how good the ACA has been for so many Americans. Proving what we all knew to be true, that the Republican claims about the horrors of the ACA are untrue. Americans who are using the ACA like it just fine.
If Republicans were smart they would take note of these stories. Yanking it out from under all the millions who are benefiting from it might provide them with a political win, but it will be Pyrrhic victory.
30 MILLION will go without insurance.. and even the CBO admits in their latest report that by the year 2025, 11 million people will LOSE their current policies.
7 million will lose their employer based policies
4 million will lose their group policies.
You spent HOURS and didnt find anyone? Who are you kidding?
This is like you guys babbling that there are so many uninsured due to the lack of expansion of medicaid, but this is only expected to drop the numbers another 4 million.
The rest, "decrease" is because of SUBSIDIES, not because of anything else.
Its amazing when you give people free **** at someone elses expense, the demand increases.. I know, shocking.. only to you.
She gets 100% subsidy as acknowledged on another posting of hers...
Its why she thinks its so fabulous. She's a typica, greedy, selfish Democrat where it doesnt matter about the 30 million others, she got hers.. screw them, they can DIE..

Yeah, the people I know who love Obamacare and defend it are the ones who either get free or low cost insurance via Medicaid or subsidies. There's also those who didn't see a change because their employers subsidize them nicely. It's frustrating that they can't even acknowledge that many were hurt by this law. Maybe if they could admit to some of the failures of it, we could work towards real solutions. Since they just defend it blindly because it's great for them, we'll never be able to fix anything.

The CBO projections show 5 million people in will lose their employer based healthcare because of ACA.
Liberals though still deny one single person exists. Everyone is lying..
