Statistically, it's still true. Binge drinking of alcohol kills more people on average every year than every illegal drug combined. Toss in the traffic fatalities from DWI, and the number gets big in a hurry.
No drug is harmless, and marijuana activists are morons for trying to claim that their beloved hippie lettuce is some sort of cosmic health food, but alcohol is by far America's most lethal killer drug of choice.
I ate a pot brownie once, never again. They are very potent. My face got gray & I passed out. Did I want to shoot myself? No, I'm a sane person. I smoke pot on a fairly regular basis, perfectly fine. No psychosis, nothing. Sorry, these people who do these things already have it in them. Take a few examples & generalize the entire drug. It's hilarious. It's also hilarious that you think pot is more dangerous than alcohol. That is such a flat out lie I can't even tell you. But continue to try to spread untrue facts. Keep flapping those hands in hysterics.
I think that mj should be legal; the costs of fighting it are far worse than any harm it causes. And I agree that there should be legally operated stores to sell it. However, selling it in the form of candy, cookies or any sweets that have an obvious appeal to children is moronic. A baggie of weed I don't see as any more of a threat or appeal to a child than say a bottle of oregano. But a candy bar or cookie? Especially when there are no basic regulations controlling content or potency, this seems beyond irresponsible. What's next? Chocolate flavored drain cleaner?
Not that this applies in this case. The 'tard in question obviously did this by his own free will.
