Just wanted to see what others thought of the less lethal riot training taking place at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Looks like our government is anticipation some civil unrest! Non-Lethal Weapons Program
probably a good thing because if things do not change, unrest may be on the horizon.

I don't see an issue with this. It seems sensible. If they only learned how to combat violent incidents, they'd either employ those tactics on a non-violent (or at least not militant) protest, which we typically call a massacre, or try and use other tactics and fail quite miserably.
We send our military into foreign, hostile cities all the time. Why *wouldn't* we train them in riot control????
