Well, apparently the so-called "pause" is set to continue. The alarmist predictions of increased hurricane activity are of course only one area that the predictions of the warmists have spectacularly failed to come true.

At the same time, the winters have been harsh lately. Tornado activity has been well below average as well. And of course the Antarctic sea ice has been setting record highs during the Southern hemisphere's winter season, which we are just starting to move into now.

Upcoming hurricane season could be the quietest in over 50 years

After a particularly difficult winter, some good weather news — we are possibly on the cusp of the quietest hurricane season in more than a half century.

Forecasters at Colorado State University anticipate that the 2015 Atlantic hurricane season “will be one of the least active seasons since the middle of the 20th century,” according to a report released Thursday. The forecast, which the school has issued each spring for 32 years, also predicts a below-average probability for major hurricanes to make landfall along the U.S. Atlantic coast.

Could be. May not be. I have finally got to the point where I dont think they really ever will know for certain, because they truth is, they dont.

Well, it is a relief of sorts to see that prediction, as it follows the pattern of the last decade from the alarmists, who have issued a series of consistently wrong predictions, all to the high side. So, it looks like this pattern of hyperbole is poised to continue.

Or not. Maybe the alarmists will be right this year, for a change.

Nobody knows what the hurricane season will be like. They can make predictions but they're just guesses, nothing based in science, we just don't know how weather works yet. When they make predictions of weather patterns in 20 or 50 or 100 years, then its just wild groundless speculation.

If there are more hurricanes than usual it will be because of climate change.

In the early 2000's the AGW cult predicted endless strong El Ninos. None of their predictions are accurate or even in the ballpark.

I blame the pause and a meek hurricane season on AGW.
