Neither link shows Russian cheating. Your first link shows Republican cheating.

You only need to go back to the Olympics during the age of the USSR. EVERY Russian block judge gave the Russian block athletes the highest marks no matter how crap they were.

I didn't realize that chess was a sport where you were judged.

"oooooh and Namatkov has just executed a triple bishop axle....and oh wait....Bobby Fisher has been red-carded for a flagrant pawn. That's two pieces and a ro-sham-bo penalty for Fisher.

Stupid senile me.

Does This One work for you?
There is a grey area in the game known as “grandmaster draws ‘where some form of cheating occurs. During the 70s when the Soviet Union was the predominant power in chess, they usually drew their games and ganged up on the rest. It was only Bobby Fischer who by his enormous will to win and incomparable talent demolished the Russians and became a legend up to this day.

The Russians have ALWAYS cheated, every chance they had.

So you believe the Russians do NOT cheat at every opportunity? Georgia? Chechnya? Crimea? Ukraine? Treaties mean nothing? Rules mean nothing?

It is my position that when cheating is ingrained into the culture, of course it permeates into ALL levels of society.
