A retired CIA officer, Normand Hodges, has made a series of astonishing confessions since he was admitted to the Sentara General Hospital on Monday.

I think this needs more verification as they just reported what he said. We know from police experience that when a murder happens its not surprising that lots of people come forward to confess to the murder or call in their neighbors as suspects. Nothing notable about this one other than not vetting the story at all.
