It appears that the Clinton Foundation reported to the IRS that it received no financial contributions from foreign governments, when in fact tens of millions of dollars of such contributions were made.

Oops, right?

Well, now the Clintons are having the taxes for their foundation refiled. Also, let's not forget that a lot of personal expenses of Bill and Hillary are apparently bankrolled by this foundation.

No word on whether the IRS will audit the returns of the Clinton Foundation after these outrageous omissions. It may be difficult for the IRS to find the manpower, as they apparently have other priorities which they regard as far more important than a corrupt politician who is running for president evading taxes and submitting falsified returns.

Clinton Foundation to refile taxes after errors emerge

The Clinton Foundation will redo a number of tax returns and audit others after Reuters found that it had inadequately disclosed donations from foreign government, the news service reported Thursday.
The foundation had claimed that it received no foreign donations from 2010 to 2013, but Reuters reported that, “several foreign governments continued to give tens of millions of dollars toward the foundation's work on climate change and economic development through this three-year period.”

While those donors had been listed in other ways, the donations had not been disclosed to the Internal Revenue Service.
Yet another "Phony scandal?" You decide.

Omission of data from a tax return can be considered felony tax evasion if "willfulness" can be established. I'm under no illusion that Bill or Hillary Clinton would be held accountable. But the fact of the matter is that they SHOULD be held accountable for this blatant felonious activity.

It is 100% impossible to have listed millions of contributions in previous years, and then have those foreign contributions drop to ZERO in a subsequent year through forgetfulness. 100% impossible.

I'm waiting for liberals to chime in on this. So far, crickets.

I agree, unfortunately even obama bows down to the democratic machine and the machine has a vested interest on this issue being swept under the rug.

How much smoke do we need to see before democrats realize their is a fire going.

AFAIK it's a classification issue with the donations - no claim that donations or income were not declared or that the Foundation is "evading taxes".

No claims that income was omitted - just misclassified. There was no "tax evasion".

You're a racist! Oh wait....she's white. You're a sexist, then!!!!!!

You must have some issue that warrants insults if you disagree with this great candidate or anything about them.

So, the previous years they understood how to fill out Form 990, but the following years they did not?

Do you realize how ignorant you sound pushing this steaming pile of dung?

There was no under-reporting of income - just a misclassification. Likely a willful misclassification but still just a miclassification that does not affect total income or any tax liability.
