Fact. A democrat wouldn't have a chance in hell getting elected President without a huge turnout of African Ameicans voting 95% democratic.
If affirmative action and diversity programs actually worked the poverty that affects a disproportionate number of African Americans would lessen, and like so many impoverished immigrants before them , they would assimilate out of the ghettos into a better life.
However, were that to happen , the Democrats could very well lose their most loyal and devoted voting block.
So the re is a vast rich white liberal conspiracy:
rich liberals in the media help promote and glorify thug couture. 24/7 music that extols violence, sexism and extreme wealth that would make even materialistic greedy wallstreeters blush.
Then liberal democrat activists meet up and probably finance African American "activists" to drum up outrage. Whether hands up don't shoot was real or not makes no difference. Create the outrage, get the votes. Is any one surprised that Al Sharpton visited the Obama White House over 20 times.
It's not rocket science, when you have at risk youths many without a father, listening to gangster music that portrays a lifestyle of 30k watches and 300k cars, while activists are out there telling them that behind every corner is a racist cop waiting to shoot them down, is it any wonder why these kids are angryl
There is one political party who has great political interest is keeping African Americans in a cycle of poverty and outrage. Only when the true left wing conspiracy against African Americans is exposed will change come.
Tragically, the victory of Dr. king and the civil rights movement continues to be squandered and another generation of African American youth are lost.
You raise some fair points, but a lot of the probem can be laid at the door of aspiring, over-educated suburbanites, who seek far too much personal service for far too little hard cash, and to the economic system that commits would-be entrepreneurs to promise too much, and a consuming public driven mainlyby "trailing spouses", children and adolescents, retirees, and many others who did not directly earn the after-tax money they spend.

The root cause involves far more than just the city of Baltimore; it involves basic disconnects within our society, and the schlockmeisters who peddle unrealistic expectations to all of us are among those least likely to be called to account.
Each side of the imbalance is as distanced from reality as is the other.
Does anyone actually think that those animals that are tearing the place up actually have an agenda? The rioters are using any excuse to loot and throw rocks at the police. They burned up businesses in their own community.
They have used the death of a man "Freddie" as an excuse to riot. Freddie died from an unusual wound possibly at the hands of the Police but until the evidence is in who knows what happened. Freddie was not a good boy, he had been arrested 25 times for mostly drug possession and dealing.
The riots have nothing to do with rich white folk or affirmative action but all to do with these idiots having no respect for anything but what they can steal and destroy.
We will have to wait to see what happened to Freddie but regardless of his arrest record, there is no excuse for real police brutality against anyone black white brown yellow or otherwise. All lives matter.
Afaic, the riots have to do with outside agitators that probably get their money from groups funded by leftwing billionaires inciting at-risk youngsters.
Opportunity exists for these kids to have fulfilling and productive lives but it takes determination, discipline and hardwork. But is it any wonder why the don't choose that path. You have activists funded by "progressives" that tell them that the racist oppressive system is stacked against them no matter how hard they work. And the constant soundtrack to their lives is all about mansions full of cristal, 30k audemars and 300k maybachs.
Yes personal responsibility is important but don't forget that many of these rioters are children and very vulnerable to the tactics of these liberal operatives.

Or it might not even have been a wound inflicted by police. He reportedly had spine and neck surgery a week before this incident.
