I was just reading some news online concerning Accra, Ghana, a city of 2.5 million people. I am not going to question the veracity of the reporting of crime.......but only 39 homicides were reported and something like 125 robberies. Crime Rate in Accra Went Down By 22% in 2014 That calculates to a murder rate of 1.56 per 100,000 residents. Compare that with place like Flint, Michigan, with 66 murders per 100,000 residents in a city that is half African American and most of the homicides come from the AA community...which means that the rate per 100,000 for AA is likely over 100.
I do not know what the out of wedlock birth rate is in Ghana, but I am very sure that it is much less than it is in the United States for African Americans. In other words, the family unit is much stronger there than here in the US. Hence, what did Westernization do to the culture of black people? when people say that the problem in America is "black culture".....I disagree. Accra, Ghana is "black culture".
I'm no sociologist, but, based on stats out of wedlock births in the US among blacks rose starting in the 1950s as marriage rates declined for this demographic.

marriage rates began to fall behind white rates. In 1950, the percentages
of white and African American women (aged fifteen and over) who were
currently married were roughly the same, 67 percent and 64 percent,
respectively.

American women aged forty and over rose by 200 percent, from 5 percent
to 15 percent"
Marriage rates dropped in black families starting in the 50s. Why do you think that is, IS?

Why, the homicide victimization rate for white America is 2.56 per 100,000....of that about 80% of the perpetrator was white....which means the murder rate in Ghana is lower than that of whites in America.
Dare I mention the fact that Ghana as a whole has a gun ownership rate of .3 per 100 residents and ranks 174th out of 178 for gun ownership, both legal and illegal?

The hood rats in the US with their "keeping it real" culture will call you a liar, white supremacist and so on, even if you're "BlacK' yourself.

Latino's aka Mexicans,Arabs etc are included in the "white" racial group. Its not just the homicide rate look at the rest of the rates...just not safe...
