I kinda had that feeling too because there's LESS prejudice against Black people who immigrated to the US as free people.

I could see Mia Love running for prez eventually, but a long ways off. She's only 39 and is currently a 1st term House member. But she reminds me of Reagan in some ways. She has an acting background and is an exceptional communicator. Like Reagan she is steeped in conservative ideology to the point that when asked to name her favorite economist, she replied, "Bastiat."
Mia Love? That'd mess with many peoples minds, especially racists of ANY race. Tho I'd consider voting for that lady. her before Hillary.

Bill Clinton (D) - will overcome the term limit via Hillary
Michael Steele (R) - I like him a lot, actually.
Alan Keyes (R) - Da fuq
Al Sharpton (D) - GTFO
Jesse Jackson (D) - GTFO

Did I miss anyone?

Addendum

Mia Love (R) - meh, but don't know that much about her
Cory Booker (D) - not overly impressed by him
Deval Patrick (D) - would be a solid candidate

Whats ironic are the posters who make the point we won't have another black President because of President Obama.

This of course is an absolutely racist idea that most posters completely miss as a racist idea.

It shows the base level of racism in so many people.

It makes sense to far too many if someone says we won't have another black President because of how they believe President Obama has performed in office.

I think there is a high correlation to those who think in this manner and those who believe structural racism is a thing of the past.

SMH.

No, I don't know. If a person of Obama's hue and parentage tried to sit in the front of the bus in the south back in the olden days he would have been told to get his ass to the back. There was no special section for "half white". If people like Obama were black when they rode the bus, or eat at the lunch counter, or go to the movies and sit down below instead of the balcony back in the Jim Crow days then they're black today when they sit in the Oval office

...thanks for pointing out just how far this country has come!

We are literally the only major western country to elect a 1/2 black President. I think that means more than being full blooded, after all, Obama is the product of an inter-racial marriage. The very definition of being color blind.

Not too bad for a country that is supposed to be so full of racists, huh?

Constantly telling people (whom they've never met) that they are racist is an unhealthy obsession for many in here.

Irrelevant, I am clearly explaining my point.

Those posters who posted that we will never have another black President because of PresidentbObsma are making an explicitly racist point.

The fact that many, many other posters accept that point without calling out its explicit racism is an indication of the base level of racism of many Americans.

Your definition of Far left looks to mean anything left of center as neither Decal Patrick or Cory Booker fit that description by any means.

Think about it, why do both the GOP and the Dems despise the Tea Party? It is because neither side wants change and they know that the Tea Party can provide it. The two parties are infested with big government neo-cons and socialist leftists. The Tea Party represents fiscal sanity and adherence to the Constitution. The Tea Party is revolutionary while the Dems and GOP want things to remain the same. The borgeousie can never be defeated so long as the proletariat is complacent. You have proven my point. Democracy exists to inhibit change.
Why are you being dishonest about what the Tea Party is? Name a Tea Partier who is pro choice, supports gay marriage and doesn't care about illegal immigration. Those issues have nothing to do with fiscal responsibility yet every Tea Partier adheres to them. Why did the Tea Party fight a mosque being built near Ground Zero, that has nothing to do with fiscal responsibility. The Tea Party serve the bourgoisie by deregulating corporations, handing out corporate welfare and keeping the minimum wage low. The establishment GOP only differs from them in that they are less Bible Thumper.
