Lol....I thought the story was hilarious.

Owning livestock is a crowning achievement in parts of Africa, so I'm not surprised.

Uh, yeah. I doubt Malia would be interested.

This guy said he noticed her in 2008 when Malia was 10 years old and has been waiting for her.
Off topic, but she is getting tall!! She looks to be nearly her father's height and she is still only 16.

Might want to keep Malia away from there;

"I got interested in her in 2008," Kiprono said, in an interview with The Nairobian newspaper.
At that time President Obama was running for office for the first time and Malia was a 10-year-old.

Malia is a pretty girl. If I was her, I'd be flattered and very amused by such an offer.

I wonder if Barack is considering the offer...he may want to get some good cattle.

50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats. Barack has to at least consider this offer.

How does this guy propose to transport all those animals to the U.S.? Noah's Ark?

Mick

I'm sure they are having a good chuckle. The guy comes across as genuine but it still sounds really bad. He has to be at least 10 years older than her.

50 cows is a lot though. A single cow probably costs a couple hundred dollars, I'd imagine. Milk production and beef production can generate profit. Not even a bad offer financially.

And it's a genuine traditional, biblical marriage. Too bad Obama's not a Republican.

I kid. Besides, Obama's a secret Muslim.

l remember some 10k race winner in Africa winning 5 cows. The look on his face was priceless. A billion dollars wouldn't have made him happier.

Amazing how people in the underdeveloped world perceive life...much simpler. Not saying that it's better, but it's better for them.

Interesting the juxtapositions of cultures.

Dude has a serious obsession that would be considered riding the edge of crimminality in this country.

If I were that guy I'd always be checking the underside of my donkey before riding it.
