I am in the process of getting my EU citizenship.... "just in case".... but I have never seriously considered moving out of the US. I don't have much patience for people who think they are too good to be here... but hey, if they find their paradise somewhere else, more power to them. More room for the hordes on waiting lists to get in, I say.

I think living in other parts or even traveling to other parts of the world is great. It opens your mind to different cultures, and allows one to see with their own eyes. However, if moving out of the U.S. is something you want to do because you feel something is wrong with America, then there is a problem. As a citizen of the U.S. this is your country. You should take pride in that very simple fact. If something is wrong, then we as Americans need to start doing things about it. I believe a quote from The Golden Child with Eddie Murphy said it best, "You Americans have so much power but don't know what to do with it." We can make this country better with the power each citizen still has. Moving to another country should defenitely be one of those things you do for fun, rather than necesity. However, there are always exceptions to the rule. Some people go to different countries and just like them better. In my honest opinion that's absolutely fine! I believe that America is the best country on the planet though! But there defenitely are other great countries on this earth as well.
