That's a pretty complicated and inefficient method to fund terrorism.
A store buys a $100 EBT card for $50, buys $100 of EBT approved stuff at Walmart, sells it in their store, and then sends some of their monthly profits back to the middle east. All this for maybe an extra 25% markup on selected products.
It's much more than 25%. Assuming 25% is the markup that is what they are marking it up over the store cost so that's a 60% profit margin. Plus there is no paper trail so they can stick all the money in their pocket.
I meant the overall ownership structure and shadowy dealings in general - I have no idea what they could be up to besides this EBT stuff. As someone mentioned, look at stuff that came out from that guy Ali Alsani - I don't think all these gas stations owned throughout rural stickville USA by guys like Ali is a coincidence. Especially if you look at how the ownership of just his one gas station has changed several times.

It never mentioned anything about going after the people that sold their EBT cards to these store workers.
