Hillary Clinton backs $15 minimum wage despite event's valets' $10 per hour | Daily Mail Online

But only paying $10/hour for valets to park cars at her "ordinary Americans" fund-raising event.

"Do as I say, not as I do."

Wow, and I thought Becky Obama was aging fast. Hillary Clinton is living proof that Eddie from the Iron Maiden album covers fathered a love child somewhere along the line. Nothing says "I'm healthy enough to run for President" quite like a picture that showcases eye bags, sallow skin, and graying teeth.

It's easy for people like Hillary -- who is as detached from reality as ANYONE I have ever seen -- to think that a $15/hr. min. wage will have no ramifications for the 99%. It won't affect her, as she grifts her way into her 70's, secure in her role as Monica Lewinsky's boyfriend's husband.

It's sad that this mess of a human is still relevant in the political world. It says little about her, but even less about people that still feel she's worth supporting.

Don't you tip the valets? I thought the $15 per hour (which seems high to me) is being urged for straight time workers, and not those whose pay will include tips (servers, etc).

Anyway, I tip valets $2 or $3 each time. I assume they, as in this event, ended up with pretty good money.

She's just pandering as usual. There's no way she really supports $15 an hour.

It was a $2700 per plate fundraiser, so basically $2700 per person of pure profit, and she wouldn't even pay the valets $15 per hour. But she expects small businesses working on small profit margins to pay that much to all their employees. Massive hyprocricy.

Says the guy who points out the signs of aging in a woman like he has some kind of profound point. She is 67 after all. You never see this pointed out for male candidates unless they're John McCain old.

Big time fund raisers hire a company to provide valet parking services. The company typically is required to show proof of adequate liability and workers comp insurance. Tipped workers rarely make $10/ hr unless state law requires employers to do so.
