It's a Salad Bowl. This is a place where every culture can celebrate it's beliefs, traditions and exercise the idea of Freedom.

A little bit of both, depending on who you are. The whole "melting pot" thing was never gonna happen anyway because we undermined it with crap like Jim Crow laws and segregation.

It used to be melting pot but has turned to salad bowl all over the world.
And now we have multi cultural conflicts in countries all over the world because of it.

Salad bowl does not promote unity; it promotes diversity which in turn promotes segregation and division.
Looks to me like it's working.

It's a Catch All. We catch all of the nasty disgusting low-life cultures of the world because we refuse to deny them entry. Instead, we offer them sanctuary, and then those people turn around and expect US to conform to THEIR cultures and threaten suit when we don't. It's beyond disgusting what this government has allowed the country to turn into.

Look no further than your fellow liberals and their putrid ideology if you want someone to blame for this travesty.
