I support your right to own and carry a gun. I support the right of others to say "not on my property".
That's why I have a concealed carry permit. I've never paid attention to the "Thou shalt not bring a gun onto the premises" signs nor has my weapon ever been visible whilst carrying.

It does not. You are trespassing and violating the law.

You may want to study some more before you go back to take the bar. A business has to display the proper signage in clear and open view within a limited distance to the entrance in my state. You can't just say, I don't want you to carry a gun here. Laws vary from state to state, but all of them have similar laws

Obviously there must be signage. If there is signage, however, and you carry a gun onto their property you are in violation of the law.
It has to be the right signage or it doesn't matter. You just put up a sign that says "no guns allowed", too bad, I'm walking in armed anyway.

I completely understand the signing has to be in accordance with regulations according to the laws of that respective state.
That being said if the establishment has the proper signing and you bring a gun onto the premises you are in direct violation of the law. End of story.

Why not just go somewhere else?
I typically do, but I am pointing out what the law in MY state is. I haven't been in a Starbucks since they made their anti-gun statement. To my knowledge they still don't have the proper signs displayed, but I took my business elsewhere anyway..
Its just Uber exercising its right to discriminate. Agree or not, all businesses should be able to do the same ( discriminate for any reason) as it is a sign of a free society.
