Koch Charitable Foundation have pledged or contributed more than $1.2 billion to cancer research, medical centers, educational institutions, arts and cultural institutions, and to assist public policy organizations.
MOST of the top ten individual political donors are DEMOCRATS and dwarf contributions from the Koch brothers.
The left needs icons to which they can direct their hate. If it is not Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin, or George Bush, it is Trump.
Oddly, the leftists of today have been beguiled into believing they are "progressive", when in fact they are regressive fascists, promoting restrictions of individual liberties and granting more power to a central government.
Among Black philanthropist, Bill Cosby's philanthropy may be only surpassed by Ophra and the King of Pop, yet he admitted to giving women Quaalude's to have sex with them. I am not comparing the acts of Cosby to the political agenda of the Koch brothers, but we need to separate people's philanthropy from who they are in their personal lives. I once attended a presentation of scholarly papers and one academic's paper told of a KKK organization that would meet in a public park and after the meeting they would always give all the food left over to black children playing nearby.
Because they fund Republicans, who are the opponents of the Democrats. And of course the way that Democrats respond to that sort of behavior is by thuggery, which is what their conduct towards the Koch brothers amounts to.
Besides, they play the political game for keeps. Why shouldn't they be excoriated just like everyone else in the game?
Many of us would like see FAIR treatment on BOTH sides.
The LSM seldom gives left money supporters the SAME treatment as they do the Koch Bros. or ANY right supporter.
The Koch Bros. are demonized relentlessly by the LSM and MANY on the left on here because they READ the left media attacks against them.
Yet, nary a word about Soros or Ton Stangly (who openly bribed dem politicians) who have given a whole lot more then the Koch Bros. and ALL the left organizations WHO GIVE A whole lot MORE THEN THE Koch Bros.
