Without the government to take from us, the have nots really are a helpless lot of wasted space.

Isolated acts of violence against us can be handled at the most individual of levels.

Right.... We'd be better off as an agrarian nation, like before industrialization caused the massive transition from rural living to urban living. Sucks technology and progress can be a cruel mistress and cause massive shifts in labor.

Well certainly, unless they get the drop on you.

A bit of reading for regressives that believe such nonsense:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just-world_hypothesis

"The just-world hypothesis or just-world fallacy is the cognitive bias (or assumption) that a person's actions are inherently inclined to bring morally fair and fitting consequences to that person, to the end of all noble actions being eventually rewarded and all evil actions eventually punished. In other words, the just-world hypothesis is the tendency to attribute consequences to—or expect consequences as the result of—a universal force that restores moral balance. This belief generally implies that in the existence of cosmic justice, destiny, divine providence, desert, stability, or order, and has high potential to result in fallacy, especially when used to rationalize people's misfortune on the grounds that they "deserve" it."

And a bit more:

Contrary to "Entitlement Society" Rhetoric, Over Nine-Tenths of Entitlement Benefits Go to Elderly, Disabled, or Working Households | Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

We now return you to your regularly scheduled, ignorant, far-right wing bashing of the poor. Stay tuned long enough, and you may get some claims of being religious and holy thrown in by the same people voting for their fellow man to die!

Wow - the poor vote for the party that hasn't basically committed to killing them. Big shock there. So surprising.

Of course, given the sheer number of dirt poor Republicans that keep electing idiot regressives year after year, an argument could be made that the poor people on welfare that are being bashed are actually *smarter* - at least they aren't directly voting against their own futures, like so many people in this nation are!

But, hey - keep on voting Republican and hating the poor. It can surely never happen to you, or so says every regressive. No, no - they are too smart, too hard working - it can't happen to them.

And amid every homeless shelter, you'll find plenty of ruined lives of people who once believed the same thing.

And a Democrat paying them to vote a few times with a bottle of rotgut.

Also, what happens when Dems run out of other peoples money?

We have a fiat currency silly. But hey.... go tell those baby boomers they'll need to pay for their own healthcare and they need to cover their retirement. See what happens when you tell them they can't use young people's money.

FYI.... the "using other people's money" argument is just ignorant. Taxes have been around for thousands of years..... Read a book or something dawg.
