It was/is a simple question, really. That you can't answer it is on you, not how the question was posed.
The president is a democrat, the democrats controlled both house of congress for his first two years, and Reid controlled the senate until this last midterm, and you want the Republican minority to explain what they have been able to accomplish under Obama?

You do realize that Obama would have to approve of whatever the repubs would want to do, right?

Not to mention, many Republicans are furious with the ineptitude and weakness from Bohner and McConnell. So even if the Republican voters would desire some changes be made, the Republican leadership in congress has been a big disappointment.

This thread is just an attempt by the OP to distract from the horrible job Obama has done while in office, and push the blame off on the Republicans.

No, I didn't vote for Obama, but then again, talking about Him is a bit of a deflection when the question is what conservatives have done in the past 7 years. It's a good question. You can ask the same about Dems.
Obama is not trying to become dictator? Bypassing the legal system to attempt to get his own way at all times. Threatening all who dare to disagree with him and bribing any he thinks that he can? Telling the Supreme Court to find to his advantage or else?

You are a devoted obamabot if all this indicates nothing to you.

Where did i say that i didn't think Obama wasn't going to get anything done in his second term?

Moreover, it's none of your business why i voted for him again. What was i supposed to do? Vote for Romney?

I don't think dictator means what you think it means.

I thank the conservatives for making visible the ugly face of their dog whistle politics via the Tea Party. The Tea Party terrifies every one except Christian conservatives and as long as its visible in the media will ensure progressive turnout at president elections.

We are still fighting a war on terror, we will not be safer until those Islamofascists are defeated, or rendered impotent.

It was also supposed to create shovel ready jobs, and as Obama laughed "they were not as 'shovel ready' as we thought."

It was also supposed to lower the cost of health care insurance, it hasn't.

We were supposed to be able to keep our doctors and insurance, 'period,' we couldn't.

It was also the most completely awful roll out in world history, to this day, Obama has to wave, ignore, delay, and alter entire sections of that destructive law. By all accounts, from the way it was passed into law, to it's cost and implementation, the ACA is the worst piece of legislation, and the most destructive, to ever have been signed into law.

Another policy initiated by GW Bush. If you throw tens of billions of taxpayer dollars at any corporation, and allow them the advantage to operate tax free for ten years, how cn they not be "saved?"

We never needed gays in the military in the first place, especially not while we are reducing the size of the military. Adding openly serving gays, lesbians and bisexuals is only making the mission of the military more costly and complex, it sure as hell has not increased the efficiency of our military, it does the opposite.

You only represent one side of every argument, and claim you win, so typical

The dishonesty of conservatives. I remember the GWBush presidency, conservatives can't lie that they were against the things GWBush did while in office. In fact, conservatives were and still are his most staunchest supporters.

So the fact remains that the GWBush tax cuts were sold by conservatives as a boost to the economy. They were wrong.

Instead those tax cuts, combined with the spending increases for the War on Terror that conservatives wanted, increased our budget deficits and national debt. conservatives ignore these facts and pretend they had nothing to do with the budget deficits or the national debt.

The war in Iraq and the war on terror, was described as easy to win. We'd flex our military might and these regimes would crumble and fear us and stop sponsoring terrorism or doing things the U.S. Government doesn't like. Along with getting Sadaam and stopping him from giving terrorists those weapons of mass destruction he had.

Instead, we destabilized the Middle East, strengthened Iran, got them to accelerate their nuclear program under GWBush, North Korea got a nuclear weapon under GWBush and after he had declared them one of the axis of evil, we got ISIL, a destabilized Iraq, a destabilized Afghanistan, a destabilized Syria, etc. a complete and total disaster has the war in Iraq and the war on terror been. I haven't even gotten to the freedom stealing Patriot Act that conservatives loved at the time.

Then we get to the stimulus, which conservatives universally said would destroy our economy. There was no equivocation on this. conservatives said this stimulus will cause run away inflation, will devalue the dollar, will destroy the economy, and our future.

For years after the stimulus conservatives were predicting economic collapse because of quantitative easing of the fed and the stimulus. Completely wrong. None if it happened.

conservatives have been spectacularly wrong.

And economists are nearly unanimous in saying the stimulus kept us out of another Great Depression, and is the reason America's economy recovered and has grown faster then Eurpoe which foolishly pursued the disastrous austerity measures conservatives wanted to enact in this nation.

Do you understand that being so wrong in their predictions and comparing that to some side joke about shovel ready jobs doesn't compare to how completely and totally wrong conservatives were in their predictions about the impact of the stimulus?

The affordable care act was absolutely suppose to fail spectacularly, ruin the health care system, ruin the economy, ruin job growth, increase the uninsured rate, be too costly, nobody would sign up, it wouldn't couldn't work, but none of these things have occurred. Again conservatives weren't making small predictions about the affordable care act, they made huge predictions and not one of them has been right. Again 100% wrong.

The affordable care act has significantly lowered the uninsured rate for adults over the age of 18. It was close to 18%, now its close to 11%. And when they survey people, who have actually gotten insurance through the affordable care acts marketplace, they like their insurance.
The CBO still says the affordable care act cost less than they predicted and will reduce the budget deficit.

According to conservative predictions none of that was going to occur. conservatives were again 100% wrong.

Also, conservatives were 100% against the auto bailouts under President Obama, the video doesn't lie, conservative after conservative predicted utter disaster from the deal. They weren't saying of course this will save these companies. They were saying this money won't save the companies. They were completely wrong again.

I could go on, but the sad fact of the matter, we have the conservative/republican political party that is so divorced from reality, that they have been completely spectacularly wrong about every major event in America for the last 15years.

I won't bother to copy Iamme's post, but in response:

The ACA has hurt job growth in this country. Just ask the Millennials.

Obama's unilateral "global warming" regulations have hurt job growth.

The world is a less stable place due to Obama's foreign policies.

Only the stupid, inept, and uninformed are still jonesing for Obama.

Nope job growth has not slowed down one bit since the enactment of the ACA in 2014.

conservatives just can't make up crap. Stop lying.

There is zero proof that job growth has been hurt.

The world is less stable because if the disastrous War on terror War in Iraq that war opponents predicted before hand would destabilize the Middle East strengthen Iran, etc.

But even if President Obama was wrong about everything, it still doesn't change the fact that conservatives have gotten nothing right in 15 years.

Obama's "immigration" policies are also hurting our country and its citizens.
