Lots of people. It's why the South grew as much as the entire rest of the country combined between 2000-2014. 40% of the population in the US now live in the South.
New York and the Northeast lead the nation in out migration.
That sure isn't true for Seattle. We have way too many Texans moving here. We're doing rain dances in hopes they'll leave but they keep telling us they can't stand the Texas politics.

Then I bet they have nothing but one complaint after another about trying to live in Texas and elsewhere in the South.

How many former Texans would move back to Texas from NYC? The ones coming either got a job, a transfer or have never lived here.
DD is visiting parents in Houston this week. She grew up here, went to UT. If she got a job making a million a year she would not move to Texas from Harlem.
Other daughter's very good friend came due to huge salary but was terrified due to things she heard about schools and conservative attitudes.

The numbers don't lie. People are fleeing NY and the Northeast. And the South is growing as much as the rest of the nation combined.
Maybe he should rail against anonymously funded front groups...oh wait.
Agreed.
"After growing rapidly in its first few years, tax records show, CAP’s total assets fell in 2006 for the first time, from $23.6 million to $20.4 million. Assets started growing again in 2007 when CAP founded the Business Alliance, a membership rewards program for corporate contributors, and then exploded when Obama was elected in 2008. According to its most recent nonprofit tax filing, CAP’s total assets now top $44 million, and its Action Fund treasury holds $6 million more."
It was Republicans who spent millions to defend it and one man one woman marriage is part of the Republican platform to this day. John Boehner committed six times as much money to fund DOMA as he initially said he would.
Washington State, Oregon, Colorado - blue states that have passed marijuana legalization. I could go buy it right now if I wanted. Republican Chris Christie says he would end it immediately.
You are just plain wrong.
Fail.
Obama only undid DOMA after a JUDGE ORDERED IT..
it was the Log Cabin REPUBLICANS who took the law to court that forced Obama to take such actions..
The gay agenda required the SCOTUS to rule on it, which happened under Obama.
The states they have decriminalized or legalized pot are in liberal states, mostly as you could make a conservative case for Colorado.
You can play semantics all you want about corporate welfare but it does in fact exist.
the Supreme Court ruling during Obamas Presidency doesnt mean Obama is responsible for it..
One has to be a complete idiot to believe thats true..
And its still against Federal Law to use pot in any form, and thus its not legal, despite your belief. Just because the law isnt being enforced, doesnt mean its now legal.
Once again, Obama did NOTHING to forward the agenda..
You guys just run around LYING and making **** up, to defend the ridiculous support for him.

Appointing two of the justices who helped strike that unconstitutional nonsense down does not equal nothing. Do you think the topic didn't come up when he was picking nominees?
Repealing DADT does not equal nothing, either.
Not going after people in states where marijuana is legal does not equal nothing, either. Put a control freak Republican in office and that could change very quickly.
Obama is not king (despite what the extreme right likes to scream) and can't just change laws on his own. He can, however, decide what gets enforcement priority and try to stack the court with people who actually believe all people should be treated equally and that the constitution doesn't just apply to straight white Christians.

I understand people are leaving NY and moving south. I did not question that. But, there is more to it. Who are they and why are they moving?
Coming home to Texas? I doubt it.
Never been here, thousands are coming it appears almost daily. You need to have a rent controlled apartment or make a ton of money to live in NYC.
