If Jon Stewart, a comedian with a satirical news show, is accused of being partisan and working for the Obama administration, what do conservatives think that says about Fox, which purports to be a news network?

In general I think they believe its being 100% truthful. I know this sounds weird, but many are unwilling to actually research, and recognize that they are being misled. When I've done so to people, they just indicate that its a one off, when I do ti over and over again....they get angry about me constantly "attacking fox news". Even if they agree with the reality that they were lied too.

Its.....mind boggling. People resist the idea that they've been misled.

Thats not true. Try Christian Science Monitor. No seriously. Despite the name, they don't really discuss Christianity at all. Just honest reporting from what I have seen so far.

You may be right, but as for the MSM, they are all in the bag for one or the other... It's absolutely disgusting what they have all turned into and makes all journalists look bad.

It's pretty much common knowledge that Fox has a conservative bias. They report things that conservatives already agree with. And even conservatives would agree Fox has a conservative bias, but many of these people believe reality has a conservative bias, so they think it's natural.

I however know a handful of conservatives who can't stomach Fox. Just as I know liberals who can't stand MSNBC. And everyone hates CNN.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. The Christian Science Monitor is shockingly reliable and pretty unbiased. The name is a bit deceiving. But I guess Fox rarely talks about foxes, so don't judge a media outlet by it's name.

Unbiased media is out there. You won't find a lot of it if it's owned by corporate entities that need to keep their audience happy. Like with Fox selectively sharing information to appeal to it's audience. But the unbiased news is not unavailable, you just have to be vigilant.

I agree. It's one of the most unbiased sources I've found.

Pretty funny.

Fox News is like a magazine. If you find something wrong with one program, just 'turn the page' to another. Denouncing the whole network is pretty silly; denouncing individual journalists is understandable.

Some of their coverage is excellent; some is not so good.
