Sea levels have been rising since the end of the last glacial period, 10,000 years ago. The level rise slowed during the little ice-age, but we warmed out of it, thank god.

So what do they want, for us to fall back into the LIA and stay there? Even if we did, the seas would still continue to rise because we are no longer in a glacial period.
er..... no.

No they don't and it isn't about lowering emissions at all. It's about wealth redistribution across the globe. The entire environmental movement has been hijacked by the Degrowth movement. Look it up.

LOL, that article was nothing more than a rah rah go Canada article. To put it another way, propaganda. Who would have thunk that increasing the price for something will result in the lower usage of said product. The taxes didn't lower emissions, people stopped buying as much because they couldn't afford it. THAT is the Degrowth movement in a nutshell. Limit people's ability to purchase (use) as much energy. That's it. NEXT!

Does anyone else remember the 1970's when killer bees were going to take over the world?

memories of the ’70s – killer bees

The only thing that would save us would be global cooling.

I have been lied to so many times I don't believe a word out of any scientist's trashy mouth anymore. Pure lying garbage.

Next on the list is taxing food to reduce obesity.

Try reading this.... Province of British Columbia
How much has it lowered the temperature? How many millimeters of sea rise were prevented?

When home energy use is lowered, the companies always raise rates more than what was saved, so it's like a tax on the homeowner.
