Seems like all I hear on TV and every media outlet is insane voices shrieking in fear, angry men ranting and foaming. These poor souls all seem to be scared witless. It's ludicrous. Why are constantly under a perpetual barrage of fear mongering?
We are well on our way to accomplishing our own destruction and it is happening from within. At this point, it appears to be our destiny to fall into defeat and ruin, just like all of the other great empires before us. What can possibly stop the momentum now? What will stop it, especially as we seem to be working to increase that momentum rather than to decrease it or stop it.

I think the answer is simple. We need to stop being the world cop/bully, and become a citizen of the world.

For the sake of argument, though let me insert a modifying thought here. The leftists do not see themselves as destroying America. Rather, they see themselves as creating the America that they want -- an America less religious, more socially democratic, more feminine; an America where each person serves the collective interests of the state.
We are not declining as an empire. We are instead moving to a different kind of empire, with different, though no less omnipotent, rulers.
