"War on women" is just another inane leftist platitude designed to keep the hapless opposition on the defensive. No more, no less. There's no reason to over think it.

Where you ever denied BC? Did you ever have to pay for it, if you didn't want to? In the early 80's I was getting BC for free from Planned Parenthood and they gave monthly exam, if you wanted one.....for free, has something changed?

Nobody at Planned Parenthood warned me, there was a "war on women."

there wasn't a war on women in the 80's. it didn't start in earnest till 2010 when the GOP started trying to deny birth control in health care and introduce laws trying restrict access to abortion

Wrong! Still twisting, spinning and accusing me of things I never said nor are they my views? Stop with the personal attacks! Your problem is that you think all conservatives are far righties when they are not. I don't even attend church so I don't know where you are getting that I am some kind of religious nut. Where do you make the correlation that just because I think a woman should take steps to protect herself from an unwanted pregnancy either through abstinence or birth control that I am saying sex is dirty? Why do you equate me with all your nasty comments just because I am pro-life? WTH? Yes, you liberals do take the cake! A nastier bunch I have never seen. Welcome to my ignore list.

So your saying women are not capable of figuring out how to purchase birth control on their own without the government doing it for them?

In the policy they chose to pay for covers it, than sure.

No one is trying to pass a law making contraception illegal.
