What are '12vers'?

And they're not every bit as rational as North Korea's government?

Even before Reagan signed the treaty with Gorbachev on Dec. 8, right-wing strategists were organizing. One week before the signing, the core of ''the outside network'' -some two dozen conservative leaders heading mass organizations that claim a total of 1 million to 2 million members - held a strategy dinner at the Ramada Inn in suburban Tysons Corner, Va.

The table talk, recalled one participant, was full of frustration, and focused on the question of ''what to do about summit fever, what to do about Reagan's relationship with Gorbachev - the idea being that Reagan was appeasing liberals in Congress, appeasing the Communists, caving in on taxes, putting moderates like Frank Carlucci at Defense, and cutting deals with the evil empire.''

Such you've got such an itchy trigger finger, I suggest you put on your fatigues and go over to Iran and start your own holy war. You make the personal sacrifice, instead of asking others to do so.

The Right Against Reagan
It just goes to show you that the bible thumping Tea partiers get massive hardons for war, death, destruction and guns no matter the party affiliation of the president trying to promote peace.

Hey Einstein, we defeated the USSR. It was unimaginative people like you who said there was no way to do that, we were suposed to just resign ourselves to that fact. Well, the USSR is no more.

The excitement which talk radio/Fox News fans have towards a war with Iran is breathtaking...I hope it's your kids you plan on having fight this war, not mine.

Hey Einstein, as for 'defeating' the USSR, it was uninformed people like you who said we should never negotiate with them either.

The right-wing alarm grew during the Reagan-Gorbachev summit, which many hard-liners condemned as ''a love-in.''
Some right-wing leaders moved quickly to exert grass-roots pressure on the Senate, tapping various networks:
the Christian right; the ethnic, anti-Communist right, made up mainly of refugees from places such as Estonia, the Ukraine, Cuba, Korea, and Vietnam;
as well as traditional pro-defense groups, such as the Coalition for Peace Through Strength, which fought earlier arms treaties.

I suppose you do realize the Ruskies probably have tons of enrichment equipment they could easily provide to their Shiite pals.

I like how you think you know better than the POTUS and the CIA on the matter. Really you,some right-leaning, Obama-hating, Islamoparanoid average joe who somehow claims to be more enlightened than one of the best informed persons in the country.

How exactly is doing nothing stopping Iran from enrichment activities ?
