Conservatives Upset That Gay Catholics Were Invited To Meet Pope Francis At The White House

I think the inclusion of so many activist groups is a bit odd, because Roman Catholicism is a religion that is "top down"... it's not a democratically-governed institution. So why a meeting with pressure groups? Whether or not you agree with the causes they represent, it seems inherently counter-productive. Freedom of conscience? Hello? Anyway, people will believe whatever they believe.

Why does the thread title say "CUBA" when the OP is concerned with gays and doesn't mention Cuba at all?

"Conservatives" is a broad term. I'm a conservative and I could not care less. This is a baiting article meant to bash a group of people.
