I thought this practice died with the romans? I was unaware that this practice of execution was still practiced. Whats worst is it says he also is going to beheaded. I would assume they are trying to make an example out of him....
I read this story and it is heartbreaking. If I had read this kid was a brutal killer I might not be so sympathetic. He merely was protesting against the government. There was no proof of the charges that were made. I hope to God that this sentence gets reversed.

Ugggg. Flippin' Saudis. A theocratic monarchy, in 2015, does seem ..odd,, to Americans. Thing is, this type of thing, is EXACGLY what not Middle East people understand, without question. That's what a monarchy is. Obedience without question, loyalty,(feigned will do) till the Prophet return, with the Sword of Allah. Or...this. Thank God I'm an American. Think this would happen if they had a 2A? Not without a dust up. This IS the stuff revolutions are made of. THIS is oppression. Both left and right leaning beads explode in the US, when we see crap like this. However, the power to actually DO something a out it is a Saudi issue. The people there have to get fed up , on their own. I would , actively, even, support such a revolution. But, the people living it have to jump first.

You got it backwards. He is to be beheaded first, crucified second. Please read your link before posting.
Remember now, Saudi Arabia is our friend, never mind it was their citizens who are responsible for 9/11. Good thing we flew the Bin Laden family out of the country a few days after the towers crumbled and fell.
