Not only this. But while he is touting the idea that other countries take in tons of refugees, migrants or whatever you want to call them, the Vatican has agreed to take in but TWO families.

You are now arguing the fallacy of where there is smoke, there is fire, even though after 30 years, you are still searching for that fire.
Some of the negative comments here about the Pope make me quite sure that if Jesus Himself came back to earth these "good" Christians and/or Conservatives would find faults and things about him to pick apart.

I think the man is a tool to be honest. What's even funnier is the Left embracing religion and cheering that it is being mixed with politics.
So suddenly the left thinks it's ok to mix religion and politics. Noted.
what? wait the left? or the right? the right always the ones concerned with morals right? maybe, hmm depends if its is war- no abortion wait- prayer in school-

lmao..You guys are bending over backwards trying to pat this moron pope on his back while he mixes religion and politics. It's plain as day for all to see. Anyway, you have to be religious to have morals? That explains why so many on the left don't have any.

Do you forget who invited the Pope to speak in Congress? It wasn't a Democrat so if anyone is mixing politics with religion, blame John Boehner. And I am not cheering the Pope or embracing his religion. I just hate the hypocrisy of some people on the right who claim moral superiority to those of us on the left being so critical of a global, moral leader just because he considers environmental issues to be a moral issue. No one is going to agree 100% with the doctrines of a church they don't attend but at least you can show some respect.
Capitalism is the greatest economic model in human history and is responsible for lifting billions out of poverty. The poorest person on this planet is better off than the poorest person on Earth in the 1600s, around the time capitalism was developed.
That said, it is time for the GOP to recognize that Capitalism and free markets, for all of its benefits, still leaves people behind and to heed the words of Jesus when he said "the poor you will always have with you." (Mark 14:7)
This is why I am voting for John Kasich, he is a man with sound conservative principles, but has consistently acknowledged that our system still leaves people behind and that they need to be helped.
I agree we (the USA system) needs to do a better job but that includes school systems, teaching right ethics, treatment of drug and alcohol addictions, mental health programs...but this message is for both GOP and Dems.
