Don't know why Iraqi Muslims should be upset about the lack of bars.
Perhaps the one guy who commented is not Muslim or like most Muslims, is moderate.
Turkey is 99% Muslim. There are plenty of night spots in Istanbul frequented by local 20 somethings who drink, dance and flirt and more. Muscle shirts and revealing dresses, not traditional garb is the norm. Homosexuality is legal.

Many Muslim majority countries trend moderate.
Or did before Obama/Clinton/Kerry decided to embrace the "arab spring" and remove the secular dictators from Egypt, Libya and now Syria. This opened up the opportunity for exttemeists to take over and make life impossible for the muslims who were living their lives in those countries.
This is one massive and bold work of social engineering and I congratulate the Finns on resisting it.

The fact that Turkey doesn't want them should tell us something.
After all,,,,they did not go to these places to freeze their butts off. They want tropical beaches and drinks served to them poolside. Livin the life is not being wrapped up like a sausage.
I'm American, from what I've read Finland is a great country to live in - adequate economy, well educated population, good standard of living. It may be cold during winter, but adaptation to that isn't the hardest thing (proper clothing, and then there's heating etc). In the warmer months (colder too?) from what I've seen, it's a beautiful country.
If Finland has offered to open it's doors to those from countries where turmoil is occurring, that's an extremely generous gift, and should be appreciated I would think?
Their language is supposedly difficult to learn, being not related to either the Scandinavian languages or to Slavic, but Hungarian - still what one person can do another can do, so it can be learned.
Makes one think

That's because Turkey is officially secular since its independence and has secular government by law for now. Most Turks in Istanbul are secular and wouldn't be shocked if many young people are irreligious/atheists.
Finnish way of life.
