In total, life for the average worker was harsh and much worse than today.
This is true. Thankfully, capitalism driven innovation has improved our lives tremendously.

As John Kenneth Galbraith said, "The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness."
This is true. He did say that. His opinion on the matter is no more valid than any other big government advocate. Total bunk.
what about the rest? Like cops busting lemonade stands? And government controlling what we can eat? and government controlling when I can open my store? and government controlling what I can pay my employees? And government controlling what I can smoke? and government controlling who can own a taxi? and government controlling who can give haircuts? and government stealing money from workers and giving it to people who did not earn it? and government subsidizing Tesla cars for very rich people?
Eliminate it.
So we should get rid of cops, food regulations, zoning laws, age limits on cigarettes, and so on?
Sounds like a great idea. Who wouldn't want children smoking and a sex shop opening up next to them with places selling food that may be toxic. Sound like a great world to live in.

Do you know what LE means? Obviously not. It's LAW ENFORCEMENT. That includes cops. So obviously I said we should have cops. Learn to read.
Then what should we eliminate? You gave a long vague list.....and then said eliminate it, as if you meant to get rid of everything you just mentioned.....

I said reduce LE by 50%. We need LE to protect people. We don't need LE to control our lives. We don't need LE to shut down lemonaid stands. So eliminate all LE activities around drugs, gambling and prostitution and that would reduce the size of LE, courts and jails. NOBODY should be in jail for lifestyle choices.

Good you cleared that up, but what about the rest of the things you listed that you said we should eliminate? Did you mean "eliminate it?"
