I would say, it must be really scary in your little bubble. When you have such clueless, brainwashed young people, in this case, the vast majority of students here support Bernie Sanders, a Marxist, it makes me realize that we still have a lot of work to do, too many ignorant, clueless people out there!

Bernie isn't any more Marxist than Europe with socialized healthcare and other social programs. Few truly complain about social security and Medicare (possibly because it is a third rail.)
You don't understand it. Communism is not a simple "political belief". We are talking about an ideology that directly or indirectly caused the death of 100-150 million people in this world. I would put this ideology in the same category as being an Al-Qaida or ISIS member.
There is a reason why being a Communist is an automatic disqualifier for US Naturalization and Citizenship
Capitalism causes many wars and deaths. Religion causes lots of strife too. Does your reasoning then lead you to seek the banning of capitalism and religion?
In any event a true conservative wants to keep government out of private affairs, which I assume include political beliefs. The way to fight a belief you don't believe in is through olitical persuasion. Besides, one can make a consevative free market argument that communism is a means by which the market makes corrections. Markets that are beneficial to most citizens needn't fear communism.

That is libertarianism that don't do it through force, conservatives do it through force.

If you suspect that one of your neighbors is a Communist. What would you do? Would you confront him, let him know what your political views are, turn him in to the authorities or don't bother at all?
Its a free country. Why do you care?
If you live in Iowa City (The People's Republic of Johnson County) there are probably quite a few communists in your neighborhood. It would relax- its not like they are democrats.

I suggest you just mind your own business about his politics.
There are no authorities rounding up communists. As a free country, people can believe what they want.
I suggest that you talk about other things, maybe you will like him.
I'd offer his kid money to mow my lawn, not pay him and keep his lawn mower......
Well, see, in communism, it's not exactly HIS mower. And the money doesn't actually go to his kid...
