So what do you propose? That someone who gets laid off should turn in their legal guns if they want that unemployment check?

How about we add to the list people who wear white after Labor Day.

Face it, given the correctly found head shrinker, all of us could probably be classified with one disorder or another. People might say, for example, that since I consider in meeting people of how the situation came about, wonder what interest the person has in meeting me, that I am paranoid and anti-social.........never mind that when I did counter intelligence in the Navy, I was trained to think like that.

Who do we give such power to, to decide who gets guns and who doesn't? Finally, for those we do give that power to, can we really trust them to use it correctly (there's that darn paranoia again).

Very good question. How does one define mental illness? If someone takes Prozac for mild depression or had some type of breakdown that they recovered from after the death of a child or a spouse after a long illness. Does that mean they can't have a gun?

What are the guidelines. As you said any of us with the right doctor could find something "off" about you.

The gun control people have all the answers to all questions except one:

How will they get criminals or those with the intent to become a criminal to obey the gun control laws?

You think these anti-gun law politicians is counting on a gun law for their protection . They're not stupid; they have fully armed entourage at all times.

It appears that you don't even have the answers to even the simplest question regarding your premise.

As long as they are stable I don't see any problem at all with them keeping their firearms.

On the other hand, if I'd just fired somebody and he showed up at our place of business with a gun...
