All of those middle eastern leaders were stooges of the CIA at one point. The federal government gave them vast sums of money to build bases in their countries over the years. We basically made them what they were.

Especially considering that he was a double agent. At the time of the State of the Union address when he got to sit next to Bush he was spying for Iran.

Yep. Especially in the case of Chalabi. Something tells me that he was fed the information that he gave to the Bush Administration by people in Bush's own administration without Bush's knowledge. And i think everyone up to Dick Cheney was neck deep in the deception.
