She said her family was "very working class" and "on various forms of public assistance."

Of course, that turned out to be a lie.

One thing for sure, we know she wasn't majoring in economics. Instituting programs like this and we'll be in the same boat as Greece in just a few years.

The federal government has no business in setting public school policies, these are programs that are left up to the state. Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution sets the powers of the government and no where in this does it mention the federal government power to regulate education. All powers not given to the government are reserved to the State and the People. The federal government CAN NOT give itself power unless the State and the People give it freely to the government.

The fed dangles the money, then says, "if you want the money, you HAVE to do as I say"!

You know why college costs so much money? And why Keely Mullen will have $150,000 in student loan debt for her total joke of a 4-year degree from Northeastern U in Boston? Because people like Steve Mullen (her father) have jobs at colleges (Chicago Art Institute course instructor) that pay enough for them to buy million dollar homes in Chicago.

But somehow that's the top 1%'s fault. Pure idiocy!

Calls to mind Elizabeth Warren's $350,000/year salary for teaching ONE class at Harvard.

Serious? Impressive. Good for her. Stupid for the university.

"Warren’s Harvard salary — tax returns show it was close to $350,000 her last full year — and criticized her teaching workload. Harvard Law professors spend, on average, five hours a week in the classroom, with the bulk of their time reserved for research, writing, student advising, and administrative tasks."

Keely's father's courses at Chicago Art Institute:

SAIC - Course Search - School of the Art Institute of Chicago

Apparently, teaching 2 courses each semester at the Chicago Art Institute earns one enough income to live in a million dollar home.

But... but... but... FREE college! Student loan forgiveness! /puke
